I probably should give it 2 stars but looking at Aaron Eckhart is worth one star alone. That said, there is no chemistry between the characters - I couldn't work out why they would fall in love. Jennifer Aniston's character is almost a cliche - cute girl, little zany, cute car, zany best friend, cute job - you get the idea. Aaron Eckhart's character is more real but John Carroll Lynch, who plays a grieving father, steals the show. His character had me in tears. I didn't think it was even vaguely funny - and it certainly isn't a romantic comedy. The romance is contrived - girl and boy meet, don't like each other, like each other, then don't and finally do -that's the oldest plot in the book. Just a very ordinary movie
This movie was soooo horrible! It was extremely boring. It could have been way better. Aaron Eckhart was not the man for this part either. He was very boring and there was no chemistry there. Jennifer Aniston did ok. It was the regular cliche movie. It was so ordinary and boring that me and my husband had to get up and leave. Didnt see the ending but im sure its just as boring. Dont waste your money.
